Stephanie Brown
Executive Director, CRISP DC
Stephanie is the Executive Director of CRISP DC, the Washington, D.C. designated health information exchange. In this role, Stephanie works closely with the CRISP DC Board of Directors to shape the long-term vision and strategy of HIE efforts in the District. Prior to working with CRISP DC, Stephanie worked at the University of Pennsylvania in behavioral economics, designing and implementing patient monitoring interventions through text message nudges, gamification and incentives. Stephanie also has experience in patient-centered medical home practice transformation at Columbia Medical Practice, as well as chronic disease care management at Healthy Howard in Columbia, Maryland. Stephanie began her career in public health at Cooper University Hospital’s Urban Health Institute in Camden, New Jersey, where she supported efforts around population health program development and ambulatory practice management.
Stephanie earned a Master of Public Health and a Master in Law from the University of Pennsylvania.
