With over 15 years of experience in Primary Care Health Clinics, Community Hospitals, Multi-Hospital Systems, and Integrated Delivery System Dr. Oliva is board certified in Family medicine and licensed in seven states. As CMO, he has personally been involved with the implementation and expansion of clinical documentation programs since 2004 and has the valuable experience needed to assist physicians and organizations in addressing many challenging issues, such as the Clinical Revenue Cycle, compliant documentation, Physician Practice Management and compensation Plans.

His past experience includes an impressive  legacy being The National Speaker Currently for American Heart Association, Planetree, having a Practice in Family Medicine, US Air Force, Olean Medical Group, and Seneca Nation of Indians, Chief Medical Officer Nuance Communications Healthcare Division/Microsoft , Chief Medical Officer Borgess Health in Kalamazoo, MI ,  Chief Medical Officer Guthrie Healthcare System, Sayre PA , Chief Medical Officer  at Wellmont Health System, Kingsport TN; Bayhealth Medical Center, Dover DE, and Olean General Hospital, Olean NY; All JATA users and Board Certified Family Medicine with activity as Faculty with Residency Programs in Family Medicine at Guthrie and in Olean NY.

Dr. Oliva is eager to serve the Virgin Islands community by promoting diabetes healthcare and assisting in developing strategies to address positive changes both current and future.
